We own a beautiful little boy named Clint. Who will be 3 in January 2026. It is true what they say about Dachshunds. Loyal, loving, protective and when they find their person clingy (meaning every where you go they go too)…. However he is a Dachshund with a sticker warning of ‘stubborn, bark at anything, chew undies etc (see the ‘l can prove it photo’).
After losing Monty (our 10 year old British bulldog) during the height of the COVID pandemic (photo taken of him 1 month before he collapsed) to IVDD we decided preventative care would be the best option to protect us from feeling helpless should situations like his occur.
Like all Dachshunds, Clint suffers with allergies and is vulnerable to IVDD due to his long back. As a preventative care measure he sees a doggie chiropractor every 6 weeks. His food is homemade and is slow cooked every 2 weeks and for added vitamins Petz Park supplement of multivitamin, probiotic, skin & coat and the dental powder is added daily. Since we changed to making his food and adding supplements his rash and skin/coat has improved.
Social media and postings of photos is not really my thing as an ‘old school’ person and trust issues hahaha. However l decided to share my doggie Clint’s story to others and have attached a photo of how naughty our little boy can be (sigh and deep breath).
