Plaque Control for Cats Benefits

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Ascophyllum Nodosum works from the inside out. Once digested, its natural compounds enter the saliva to fight bacteria, reduce biofilm and help prevent plaque from forming. It also supports gum health with anti-inflammatory properties and gentle enzymes that help soften existing plaque, making it easier to remove.

PLAQUE BUILD UP

Kelp is an iodine-rich ingredient known to: fight against plaque (tartar) build up, reduce gum disease, eliminate bad breath, prevent dental disease and maintain overall dental health.

⚠️ Not suitable for cats with thyroid disorders.

HEALTHY GUMS

Ascophyllum Nodosum, known as Norwegian Kelp, has natural anti-adhesive, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This means by feeding daily, we can reduce levels of bacteria from sticking to the tooth enamel, loosen existing plaque and minimise tartar build up. It is used to help keep your cat’s teeth clean and reduce halitosis, (bad breath)!

FEATURES COCONUT

Plaque Control for Cats also features Coconut for its anti-microbial function. This ingredient helps to prevent the growth and spread of unwanted microbes as well as enhancing the flavour of our dental care supplement for cats.

MADE IN AUSTRALIA

    Amazing product

I have been using this for almost a year now for my cat. He used to have really bad breath before and now thanks to this product that problem has been addressed. He likes it sprinkled on top of his wet food and he would eat it all without any drama.

Its a great product for my cat who can not have dry food. It keeps his teeth clean between vet visits. His vet is always surprised by how well the Plaque Control keeps his teeth clean.

    Very happy

Lenny (5) has had severe gingervitis since I got him at 1. He is prone to resorptive lesions on his teeth and has lost 2 as a result. I had to start him on this very slowly in tiny amounts as he won’t eat food that has been tampered with. It took about 2 - 3 weeks but he is now on full dose. His gums are still looking good after his teeth clean at the vets 6 months ago and there is no bad breath. Overall I think this is a winner

Hi Rose! Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review and for taking the time to share your experience with our dental kelp for cats. We're delighted to hear about the fantastic results you're seeing with Lenny's dental health, especially given his history with gingivitis and resorptive lesions.

It's wonderful that you were able to work so patiently with Lenny to get him used to the product. We understand how challenging it can be with cats who are particular about their food! Your dedication really paid off, and we're thrilled that he's now on the full dose and doing so well.

What really makes our hearts sing is hearing that his gums are looking good 6 months after his dental cleaning and that there's no bad breath! That's exactly the kind of long-term dental health support we aim to provide, and it's fantastic that you're seeing these sustained results with Lenny.

We're so grateful that you chose Petz Park for Lenny's dental care, and your experience truly means everything to our team! Thank you for trusting us with his health and for sharing this incredibly encouraging feedback. We're so happy to have you both as part of the Petz Park family, and we're thrilled that our Plaque Control is helping keep Lenny's teeth and gums healthy! Please keep us updated on how he continues to do in the weeks and months ahead. We love hearing success stories like this! ❤️

Good things come in small pacakges

So far so good. She seems to like the tooth powder. I've resisted looking at her teeth, I'll wait for a couple more weeks. My vet was happy for her to have the supplement, and I was relieved about that.

I'm going to hold on the probiotics until I've changed her dry food mix. Overall, after a very prompt delivery, and a seamless purchase, I'm a happy customer!

There is a noticeable difference when up close for kitty cuddles and she is yakking nonstop about how hard done by she is. Haha

FAQs

Absolutely! We made sure that all of our supplements can be used alongside each other without any problems.

Please follow the recommended dosage for each product that you use for optimal results.

You bet! Since all of our supplements are in powder form, we can use it in lots of different ways.

Try starting with just a pinch of powder in your cat's food and gradually build up to the recommended dosage over several days. Every day adding an extra pinch of powder.

You can also try scooping your supplement to your cat's bowl first and adding food on top.

Another suggestion is to try adding their favourite treat!

This varies from cat to cat. Some owners see results within a couple of days, others in a couple of weeks. A factor of this could depend on the severity of their issues; another could be the size of your cat.

Always allow 4-6 weeks before expecting to see improvements in your cat.

You can use a cat-specific toothbrush and toothpaste to clean plaque off a cat's teeth. Gently brush your cat's teeth in a circular motion, focusing on the gum line. Start slowly and gradually increase the duration of brushing sessions. To further improve cat dental health, you could use cat dental treats.

Dental disease in cats can lead to death. Untreated dental problems can lead to severe infections, pain, difficulty eating and other health complications. Regular cat dental care, including professional cleanings and at-home maintenance, is essential for maintaining a cat's oral health and overall well-being.

While some dog dental sticks may be safe for cats to consume, it is not recommended. Cats have different dietary needs and may not benefit from dog-specific dental products. Choose cat-specific dental care options like kelp powder for cats or dental sticks.
