Plaque Control for Cats Benefits

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Ascophyllum Nodosum works from the inside out. Once digested, its natural compounds enter your dog’s saliva to fight bacteria, reduce biofilm and help prevent plaque from forming. It also supports gum health with anti-inflammatory properties and gentle enzymes that help soften existing plaque, making it easier to remove.

PLAQUE BUILD UP

Kelp is an iodine-rich ingredient known to: fight against plaque (tartar) build up, reduce gum disease, eliminate bad breath, prevent dental disease and maintain overall dental health.

⚠️ Not suitable for cats with thyroid disorders.

HEALTHY GUMS

Ascophyllum Nodosum, known as Norwegian Kelp, has natural anti-adhesive, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This means by feeding daily, we can reduce levels of bacteria from sticking to the tooth enamel, loosen existing plaque and minimise tartar build up. It is used to help keep your cat’s teeth clean and reduce halitosis, (bad breath)!

FEATURES COCONUT

Plaque Control for Cats also features Coconut for its anti-microbial function. This ingredient helps to prevent the growth and spread of unwanted microbes as well as enhancing the flavour of our dental care supplement for cats.

My cat Ariel was at the vets today and she has no plaque at all. Her teeth have a bit of gingivitis but absolutely no plaque.

    Prompt service and good pricing

Ordered plague control for my 14 year old cat for the second time. Jensen initially would not touch his food with the added powder but with a bit of patience and trying over a few weeks, he is now perfectly fine with it. He was scheduled to have at least a couple of his back teeth removed but upon a final check on the day of the surgery, the vet said that a thorough clean under general anaesthetic should do the work. I assume the plague control power had something to do with that unexpected but positive result... so I now add the plague control to Jensen's evening meal without fail every day!

What an incredible success story! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing news with us, LMK!

To know that our dental kelp for cats potentially helped Jensen avoid having those back teeth removed is absolutely fantastic! We can only imagine how relieved you must have been when the vet said a thorough clean would do the job instead. What a fantastic outcome for your beautiful 14-year-old boy!

We're also so impressed with your patience and persistence in getting Jensen used to the powder. It can take some cats a little time to adjust, but your dedication really paid off! Now that it's become part of his daily evening routine, what a win!

Thank you for trusting us to be part of Jensen's dental health journey and for being such a valued member of the Petz Park family. We're also grateful for your kind words about our prompt service and pricing. It means the world to us!

We'd love for you to keep us updated on how this handsome boy is doing with the Plaque Control powder. Please promise to stay in touch - we can't wait to hear from you again! ❤️

    Brilliant product.

My little Ella had plaque on her teeth which the vets wanted to remove. Ella has trouble coming out of an anaesthetic, she acts really weird for a few days after. So I decided to try the Plaque control and I’m happy to say that her teeth are now free from any plaque. I’m on the second packet and I’ll always include it in her food. Just start slowly so they barely notice it and gradually increase the amount. Ella has fresh chicken and beef cut up, so I add some of the Dine soup or broth to prevent her meal from becoming too dry and she absolutely loves it.

We're absolutely delighted to hear that the dental kelp for cats is making such a positive difference with her teeth! It's amazing to hear that her teeth are now plaque-free since starting with the powder. Thank you for sharing your feeding tip, too. We can't wait to see Ella again soon, please stay in touch with us. ❤️

    Plaque Control for Cats

Unfortunately my boy had a bad start to life, his teeth were an issue because of a rescue kitten with not much goodness provided, he also struggled with other teeth issues and had a few removed, since putting him on these type of meds, his last dental report was tops, there are no issues now and he is happy, as is my pocket

    Repeat purchase!

The plaque control powder has saved us thousands in vet bills! Our beautiful ragdoll was experiencing plaque issues and the vet said she’d need to have it surgically removed. I grabbed a pack of this miracle product, and six months later the vet was blown away - we will be maintain this in her nightly dinner, it’s brilliant. And as an unexpected side benefit, her hairballs are now virtually non-existent! It’s a win-win.

FAQs

Absolutely! We made sure that all of our supplements can be used alongside each other without any problems.

Please follow the recommended dosage for each product that you use for optimal results.

You bet! Since all of our supplements are in powder form, we can use it in lots of different ways.

Try starting with just a pinch of powder in your cat's food and gradually build up to the recommended dosage over several days. Every day adding an extra pinch of powder.

You can also try scooping your supplement to your cat's bowl first and adding food on top.

Another suggestion is to try adding their favourite treat!

This varies from cat to cat. Some owners see results within a couple of days, others in a couple of weeks. A factor of this could depend on the severity of their issues; another could be the size of your cat.

Always allow 4-6 weeks before expecting to see improvements in your cat.

You can use a cat-specific toothbrush and toothpaste to clean plaque off a cat's teeth. Gently brush your cat's teeth in a circular motion, focusing on the gum line. Start slowly and gradually increase the duration of brushing sessions. To further improve cat dental health, you could use cat dental treats.

Dental disease in cats can lead to death. Untreated dental problems can lead to severe infections, pain, difficulty eating and other health complications. Regular cat dental care, including professional cleanings and at-home maintenance, is essential for maintaining a cat's oral health and overall well-being.

While some dog dental sticks may be safe for cats to consume, it is not recommended. Cats have different dietary needs and may not benefit from dog-specific dental products. Choose cat-specific dental care options like kelp powder for cats or dental sticks.
